First time I went here was 35 years ago. Recently went there and the new owners had not changed the atmosphere one bit…which is great! This is what you want from an established deli. Oh, the food and service were top. Please, don’t change!

So far- had the steak sandwich combo and the Reuben combo. Both were delicious. Bread is on point. Steak fries are great. Comes with a huge beverage for $11 or $12, depending on what you get. When I go to a place, I ask "what's the best? What's most popular? What do you recommend?" and I often get that. Not every place cooks every dish to the same level. They have their specialties. Identify those and you rarely go wrong.

Little local NY style sandwich shop in the Hollywood neighborhood in College Park. Food and friendly service are consistently good. The atmosphere is what you might expect from a local pizza shop.

Everything is really good. If there is a sandwich that you want but don’t see it on the menu, just ask, they can probably make it.

Closed when I got here at 2 pm man walked in and out they said not open took a video showing the time.

In response to owner why was the employee showing up 1 hour before you closed are you normally open during these hours are the hours correct can't wait to try the food

Place is old, but the food is pretty good, the prices are reasonable, and the people seem nice. I will definitely keep going back. The bacon-cheeseburger sub is my favorite, but all of the club sandwiches are good too. UPDATE: Food still good. Building still older than dirt. People still nice...

The wings were great. Not a big fan of the spicy BBQ sauce, but that's just my preference. Nice atmosphere. Lots of food choices. Nice staff.

My boyfriend and I just got lunch here for the first time, and it was delicious!! Not only was the food tasty and affordable, the customer service was great and the ambiance was cozy. Highly recommend!

Ive been there several times already. All of the food that I have had has been amazing. Im glad to have found this excellent deli in pg. They are a rarity....Today I had the Crabcake sub. My goodness gracious.

First time going. Result,,,,3more times.Even after Thanksgiving. Can't beat the quality and quantity. Not expensive either. Lots of variety also. I wish I could go more often. Will be returning after the holidays to eat even more menu items that I haven't tried yet. Thanks.

The service is always pleasant & great. The food was on point & fast. I always call ahead & order my food. No waiting in line. Walk in, check my food tap that Google pay & I'm out the door with a smile.

Have ordered delivery and dined in many times. These are good sandwiches for the price, made by people who care. The delivery fees have gotten to be a bit much given that we live about a half mile away. The dining room is definitely worn out, but clean enough to eat a sandwich in. They haven't always had what we wanted in stock, but they are also willing to accommodate just about any request they can. Far, far better than the chain sandwich shops.

The food is always good here. The people that work here are always great. I had a Reuben and it was fabulous. I recommend this place to anyone.

Great sandwich shop! I initially got the corned beef and didn’t like it (where I am from they are usually very packed) so I decided to go back and I am so happy I did. I got The Upstate New Yorker and it was amazing. I got it again the very next day.

Can not forget the service. The staff is very nice and kind. Your order may take a little second but if you want a fast made sandwich thats probably nasty then this place is not for you.

Nice little hole in the wall type of place. Had the ruban sandwich which tasted good. Staff was friendly, I'd go again to try another sandwich one day

This Deli has some of the best food I have eaten in a long time. Everything I have ordered from New York Deli has been delicious! I have been ordering meals from them for the last couple of weeks while settling on a home. I recommend the Honcho sub, the Crab Cake is great, the Egg Salad is awesome, and the Macaroni Salad is out of this world!!! The prices are very reasonable. One more thing, every single order I got was correct. There were no missing or wrong items. Delivery was very quick. If you are ordering in, or in the area for local pick up, I recommend them highly. If you order from this deli you will not be disappointed. We need to support quality local businesses like New York Deli.

Good food. Fast service. Lots of options to choose from. I was helped by a friendly counter person who knew the menu and made excellent suggestions.

Good food for a carry out, people are nice. The seating area has improved since my last visit. Still seems dark throughout the establishment.

The breakfast platter is always on point. The customer service is impeccable.

Love this place! Breakfast is amazing! I've had the breakfast burrito multiple times and it's always delicious. The chicken Caesar wrap is also a good lunch option. The pastries do get a little stale by the end of the day but in the morning they are delicious. I live nearby and this place is always my go-to for when I need something to eat while out.

The title ‘Local greasy spoon’ is a Complement invoking classic menu with no frills. Just very good quality food prepared well. Example, home fries a big pile of fresh prepared small potatoes. Not a shredded frozen and tasteless mat.
A timeless classic of good food. Call them and place an order to pick up you will not be disappointed!

This place is a Gem!! I must say, they have the BEST breakfast and most reasonable prices with the friendliest owners and staff!! The breakfast platter is phenomenal and the potatoes are done right. Love this place.

A surprisingly good casual luncheonette in the heart of North College Park. The steak sub was very good, with cheese, peppers, lettuce, and tomatoes on a soft sub roll. Fountain drinks are Pepsi products. Fries were steak style. Service was both fast and pleasant. Probs were very generous. Prices were a little higher than typical for the area but not much. Restrooms were clean. I am looking forward to trying the rueben in the future.
